Alison Marks
Alison began her real estate career in 1981 and qualified as AREINZ in 1993. She has experienced every facet of the real estate industry with 12 years as a commercial investment agent to owning four residential and rural real estate offices.
Over the past seven years as a business broker she has chosen to concentrate on the tourism industry becoming involved in the Luxury Lodge and Hotel market throughout New Zealand. Alison has become well known in this market and has many contacts both nationally and internationally.
She has sold a number of key properties to overseas buyers and has connected them with specialists in New Zealand Immigration and Overseas Investment requirements.
She has a definite love of the land having been brought up on a Hawkes Bay sheep farm and enjoys the rural life as much as the business and commercial life in our cities. Her experiences with land subdivision and development came from her husband who as a Surveyor and Engineer, gave her an indepth knowledge of the Resource Management Act and Council town planning matters.
Alison comes to New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty with enthusiasm for her continued work in the Luxury Lodge, and Luxury Home sales throughout New Zealand, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge that will greatly assist those venturing into this market in New Zealand.
